Bereft هي صفت آهي، جنهن جي معنيٰ آهي، نراس، اداس، محروم، اٻاڻڪو ، سولي سنڌيءَ ۾ هن جو مثال ائين کڻي ڏجي ته جيئن ڪنهن جو ڪو ويجهو عزيز يا مائٽ گذاري وڃي ته ماڻهو ڪيئن محسوس ڪندو آهي، ان حالت کي bereft چئي سگهجي ٿو.
ڪجهه مثال:

Bereft of hope معنيٰ اميد کان محروم، آسان کان نراس وغيره
Bereft of color معني ڪا اهڙي جاءِ، گهر يا ڪمرو جنهن کي رنگ روغن ٿيل نه هجي، هي ان لاءِ استعمال ڪري سگهجي ٿو
Bereft of new ideas يعني نون خيالن کان محروم يا وانجهو
Bereft of luxuries عياشين کان محروم
Bereft of food کاڌي يا خوراڪ کان محروم
Bereft of funds فنڊن کان محروم
Bereft of gas گئس کان محروم
Thoroughly bereft of an object in life زندگيءَ ۾ مڪمل طرح ڪنهن به مقصد کان محروم يا نراس (ماڻهو)
